Pine Straw

Pine Straw is a specialized insect, and rodent free ground covering which provides quality bedding for your trees and plants.  Pine Straw comes available in slash and long needle (reddest of the two).  All installations include professional clean-up and rolling of beds.

Mulch is an specialized ground covering used to insulate plants and soil, and to beautify landscapes.  Mulch helps to prevent weeds from growing, adds nutrients to plants and soil, protects soil from erosion, and conserves moisture.  Mulch is available in black, red, brown, and cypress.  (Rubber mulch also available).

  • Long Needle    Also known as longleaf pine straw averages 14 inches in length. Longleaf pine straw is considered a premium pine needle that is used for landscape projects that require the BEST pine straw on the market.  Covers approximately 

    • Prettiest of the two​

    • Bright red appearance

    • Heavy wax coating allows it to last longer than regular pine straw

    • Covers approximately 38 sq ft.

      • $4.25 per bale picked up​

      • $4.75 per bale delivered (100 bale minimum)

      • $6.50 per bale installed (Bale minimums based by city.                 to access minimum bales chart.

  • Slash/Regular

    • Covers approximately 28 sqft.​​

    • Reddish appearance​

    • Great for wooded areas 

      • $3.65 per bale picked up​

Mulch Variations

Colored/Dyed Mulch             We offer Red, Black, and Brown colored mulches.  Because the color is dyed into these mulches it is not suggested to install these within days of inclement weather.

 

 Wood Bark/(No Dye)            We offer wood bark mulch, large wood bark nuggets, and small bark nuggets.  These nuggets look similar to the bark of a tree.  This mulch is not dyed and therefore weather conditions don't affect this product.

 Cypress Mulch                       This mulch has a yellowish appearance similar to the color o a no.2 pencil.  This mulch is not dyed and therefore weather conditions don't affect this product.

Cypress Chips

(Playground Mulch)              This mulch has a yellowish appearance similar to the color of a no.2 pencil.  This mulch is the same as cypress mulch above except the chips are larger and are not ground to help avoid ingestion by kids, making it playground safe. This mulch is not dyed and therefore weather conditions don't affect this product.

    • $5.00 per bag installed (Must be purchased with pine straw to get bag rate.)
